Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department Offers Free Tennis Instruction to Children

The city’s Phoenix Tennis Center wants to get children, ages 5 to 18, out of the house and onto the courts. On Saturday, Feb. 9 from 2 to 4 p.m., certified tennis professionals will give free instruction to kids of all abilities – from beginners to advanced players.

The Phoenix Tennis Center is offering this opportunity to promote the health, fitness and social benefits of tennis by providing a fun and active program for children. If needed, tennis racquets will be provided.

For additional information or to reserve a spot, call 602-249-3712. The Phoenix Tennis Center is located at 6330 N. 21st Ave.
