Work Set to Begin on Guard Rails on South Mountain Park/Preserve Summit Road

Work has begun to install improved guardrails along the Summit Road in Phoenix’s South Mountain Park/Preserve. To accommodate installation work, the Summit Road will be open only on weekends through Oct. 15, 2008. San Juan Road will remain open to bicyclists and hikers during construction closures on the Summit Road.
