Phoenix Public Library Offers Free Writing Workshop June 17

Mesquite Library will offer a free writing workshop with author Jenna Rhodes from noon to 3 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, at 4525 Paradise Village Parkway North.

The workshop will cover the technique of creating a gripping plot and believable characters and how to find an agent. Following the workshop, Rhodes will sign copies of her newest book, “The Dark Ferryman.”

Rhodes is a prolific author of thrillers, fantasy and science fiction under several pseudonyms including Elizabeth Forrest and Charles Ingrid.

The program is sponsored by the Friends of the Phoenix Public Library, Mesquite Chapter, Berkley Publishing and The Poisoned Pen.
