Phoenix, AZ – Some of the world’s most respected aviation minds will gather in Phoenix, Ariz. March 26 to 28 for the 17th Annual Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport Aviation Symposium. The event will be held at the Phoenician Resort.
CEOs and senior executives from airlines including United Airlines, American Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, Lufthansa German Airlines, Southwest Airlines, Virgin Atlantic Airways, and WestJet will participate as panelists. In addition, the U.S. Transportation Secretary, Mary Peters, and Phoenix Mayor Phil Gordon will speak. The panels will be moderated by internationally renowned journalists such as Perry Flint of Air Transport World, Philip LeBeau of CNBC, Scott McCartney of The Wall Street Journal, and Benet Wilson of Aviation Daily.
This year's theme is “Capitalization, Competition & Consolidation? Global Views of the Aviation Industry.” Panels will discuss a range of topics, including: Foreign Ownership – What’s Different About Airlines?; Airport Customer Experience 2018 – Evolution or Revolution; The Next Big Things – The Environment and Airport Access; Labor and the Global Outlook – Global Fulfillment; Evolving Airline Networks; Aeropolitics – The Biggest Challenges; and Alternative Business Models – What Seems to Be Working and Why?
Since 1992, the Phoenix Aviation Symposium has brought high-level aviation industry and government officials from around the world to Phoenix to discuss the most current and important issues facing the aviation industry.

Members of the media are invited to attend any or all of the panels. However, videotaping and recording is not permitted in the Executive Panel which will be held Friday afternoon.
