Public Invited to Review Recommended Development Program for Phoenix Deer Valley Airport

The public is invited to a public information workshop on the master planning process for Phoenix Deer Valley Airport. The workshop will be held 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 27 at the Country Inn & Suites near the intersection of I-17 and Loop 101 in north Phoenix. The address is 20221 N. 29th Ave. This is the fourth such workshop hosted by the city of Phoenix Aviation Department.

The Airport Master plan currently being prepared for Phoenix Deer Valley Airport will address both airside and landside facility needs. Phoenix Deer Valley is one of the busiest general aviation airports in the country. It is owned and operated by the city of Phoenix.

The Phoenix Deer Valley Airport Master Plan will ultimately provide recommendations regarding the future development of the airport. During the Feb. 27 workshop, exhibits will be provided to illustrate airport facilities and proposed development. Members of the public will have an opportunity to speak one-on-one with project team members and there will be opportunities for the public to provide written or verbal comments.

For more information on the city of Phoenix Aviation Department master planning processes for both Phoenix Deer Valley and Phoenix Goodyear Airports visit www.phxskyharbor.com.
