Phoenix, Arizona – Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport joins Phoenix Mayor Phil Gordon, Valley Mayors and the state of Arizona in supporting the Red Cross's efforts to help the city of New Orleans.

Sky Harbor plans to send approximately eight technicians with airport support equipment to assist in repairing the airport infrastructure in New Orleans.

"We know the New Orleans Airport would be there for Sky Harbor if we needed them,” said Assistant Aviation Director, Carl Newman, and it is without hesitation that we will rush to their aid."

Sky Harbor is asking anyone interested in supporting the Valley and state effort to go through one of the organizations listed at www.give.org.
