Phoenix, AZ – The Phoenix Aviation Advisory Board welcomes a new member this week. Andrew Cohn of Levine Investments is filling the seat vacated by Michael Dixon. The Phoenix Aviation Advisory Board is made up of nine members appointed by the Mayor and City Council to four-year terms. Members make recommendations to the City Council on major Airport projects, concession contracts, and leases.
Mr. Cohn of Levine Investments was recently appointed to the Board. As Director of Real Estate at Levine, Mr. Cohn manages acquisition, disposition and evaluation of real estate holdings. He also plays an active board role in several companies including Global Water Resources, a utility provider.
Originally from Great Neck, New York, Cohn came to Arizona in 1981. He has worked his entire career in the real estate industry in numerous roles.
“Andrew’s expertise in the area of real estate and properties will be a great addition to the talented and esteemed group of Board members already in place,” said Danny Murphy, Acting Aviation Director.
After taking a behind-the-scenes tour of Sky Harbor and meeting with Aviation staff, Cohn said, “Every employee that I met was passionate about providing the best possible service to the public. I am overwhelmed by the City’s commitment to this world-class facility, which is such a wonderful amenity to the entire Valley.”
Mr. Cohn is married to his wife, Amy of 19 years and together they have two children aged 15 and 17.
