US Airways Moves to Sky Harbor’s Terminal 4 October 4

Phoenix, Arizona -- Even though America West is officially changing its name to US Airways today, passengers who currently hold US Airways tickets will continue to fly out of Terminal 2 at Sky Harbor through October 3. On October 4, US Airways will make the move to Terminal 4. That means beginning October 4, all US Airways passengers will arrive and depart at Terminal 4. For those holding America West tickets, nothing will change.

Sky Harbor will provide extra staff in Terminals 2 and 4 on October 4 to answer passenger questions.

Signs and ticket jacket inserts will be provided for passengers who fly out of Terminal 2 on US Airways before October 4, and fly into Terminal 4 after the switch is made.

Sky Harbor will make sure those passengers who park in the Terminal 2 garage before October 4 know how to get back to their cars after US Airways moves to Terminal 4.

Currently, about 55,000 US Airways passengers fly in and out of Sky Harbor every month. America West and America West Express serve nearly 1.8 million passengers per month at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. For more information, visit www.phxskyharbor.com.
