The Irish Cultural Center

The Irish Cultural Center is owned and maintained by the city of Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department. Through a unique partnership, the non-profit Irish Cultural and Learning Foundation organizes and offers the special events and educational programs associated with the center.

The center features a large meeting hall, which is available for rental. Across the plaza from the main center is the Irish Cottage, a full-scale replica of an Irish farm cottage.

The Foundation's Academy of Irish & Celtic Studies offers an array of unique classes in everything from Celtic instruments -- including bagpipes and the bodhran - to Celtic languages, such as Welsh and Scottish Gaelic, to step dancing.
