Sunday at Shemer's 20th Anniversay celebration will take place on Sunday, November 2, 2008. This will be the year’s biggest day at Shemer Art Center and Museum! “Sunday at Shemer” is a fun-filled art festival for the entire family that helps the Shemer raise funds critical for the continued support of its children’s art programs, museum exhibitions, community outreach, and art education scholarships. “Sunday at Shemer” manages to order up a cool, beautiful November day filled with colorful artwork, entertaining by City Jazz Band, Margo Reed, Judy Roberts, and delicious food. Demonstrations by artists, children’s art activities, and more are scheduled throughout the day. On display – and up for auction – will be fabulous works of art.

More than 40 fine art booths offering fantastic works of art by many of the Valley’s finest artists, including original paintings, drawings, handcrafted jewelry, ceramics, metal and wire sculpture, photography and demonstrations.
Over 100 works of art to be contributed to “Sunday at Shemer’s” amazing Silent Auction. Food Vendors include: Maui Wowi, Vincent on Camelback, Pink Pepper.

October 30-31, 2008. Bidding continues during “Sunday at Shemer” throughout the day. “Sunday at Shemer” promises a beautiful day of fun for all ages. Gates open at 10am. Admission is only $5 for ages 6 & up, and children 5 and under are free.
Offsite parking with a free shuttle service is available at Chase Bank, 4401 E. Camelback Rd., and Hopi Elementary School, 5110 E. Lafayette.
