Estrella Village Planning Committee

Estrella Village logoThe Estrella Village has had the greatest population growth since the 2000 census, based on home sales through 2006. This village closely meets the goal of the General Plan to provide housing, jobs, commercial development, recreation, transportation, and other urban amenities. Industrial growth continues in a hub of warehouses and trucking that serves as a node for regional distribution throughout the valley.

In the southwest part of the village the transition from agricultural uses to residential and commercial has benefited from the perspective of the Estrella Village Planning Committee, resulting in trail circulation, beautiful streetscapes, and attractive architectural detailing on commercial development. Amenities coming to the village in the next ten years include the Southwest Services Complex and regional park, commercial core, and shopping opportunities in the Lower Buckeye Road corridor, as well as improved traffic circulation.

Serving on the village planning committee in this growing and dynamic village provides opportunities to influence the community you live or work in. The committee meets the 1st Tuesday of the month at 6:00 PM at the Fowler School District Board Room, 1617 South 67th Avenue.
