THE 100 CLUB concept was born in Detroit, Michigan in 1952, and THE 100
CLUB of Phoenix was formed in 1968. Since that time, the more than 500
members of THE 100 CLUB of Phoenix have offered tremendous support to
the families of the numerous Phoenix police officers slain or injured
in the line of duty.
Providing Assistance at a Moment's Notice:
THE 100 CLUB is a low-profile, volunteer, philanthropic organization
dedicated to supporting the surviving families of "Men and Women
Behind the Badge." When tragedy strikes, the effects are swift and
devastating. As a charitable non-profit Arizona corporation, THE 100 CLUB
recognizes the need to respond immediately with support and understanding.
Whatever the need - financial, advisory or moral support, THE 100 CLUB
is dedicated to easing the pain a family of a law enforcement officer
injured or killed in the line of duty must endure.
Who They Help:
THE 100 CLUB responds to the immediate aid of the family when any one
of the following are injured or killed in the line of duty:
- An officer from any municipal police department.
- An officer from any fire department.
- An officer from any county sheriff's office.
- A law enforcement officer of the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
- A correctional service officer of the Arizona Department of Corrections.
- A certified enforcement officer of the Motor Vehicle Division of the
Arizona Department of Transportation
People Making a Difference:
Members of THE 100 CLUB include individuals from the community,
law enforcement and fire officials, as well as corporate sponsors.
