The Census is upon us!

Census Seal “Decennial” is a census of population and housing taken by the Census Bureau in years ending in 0 (zero). The 2010 Decennial Census will gather data that is used to reapportion the seats of the U.S. House of Representatives and realigns the boundaries of the legislative districts of each state. The data also provides a guideline for allocating more than $400 billion each year in federal financial assistance and also gives a social, demographic, and economic profile of the country’s people. The census data assists in guiding policy decision at each level of government.
