Laws guarantee your freedom by guaranteeing your safety and your right to own and use property. Without these laws, you couldn't keep your bike, football, or even your clothes if someone bigger or stronger wanted them. If someone didn't like you, he could attack, maim, or even kill you. No one, not even the strongest, would enjoy any freedom at all. Might--not right--would prevail.
