The following Privacy Statement has been developed as an extension of the City's E-Phoenix Privacy Policy and details how Engineering and Architectural Services (EAS) Central Records will use and protect users' personally identifiable information. Personally identifiable information is information about a person that readily identifies, or is unique to a specific individual. Personally identifiable information may include such things as an individual's name, social security number, home address, and phone number.

The data we collect and how it is used.
If you do nothing during your visit to EAS Central Records but browse, read pages or download information, we will not gather or store information about your visit.

Information provided for a transaction is used only for the purpose of completing and recording the transaction. Information requested will be no more specific than if you were engaging in the transaction by other means, including by telephone, fax, or in-person while working with EAS Central Records. None of the information you provide will be displayed on phoenix.gov.

The City of Phoenix, Information Technology Department, maintains the information you provide on the License Agreement, requiring your compliance, when you purchase electronic information. This information is only used in the event that you sell City of Phoenix data and to prevent the unauthorized use, disclosure, or availability of all information of a proprietary nature that it receives in connection with this Agreement.

Specific procedures for access to and inspection of information collected.
You may recommend changes to your personally identifiable information you believe to be inaccurate by submitting a request that credibly shows the inaccuracy. We will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections.

Sharing of information.
As a governmental agency, Public Records Laws govern the City of Phoenix EAS Central Records Department. Any information we receive through the use of our site is subject to the same provisions as information provided on paper. The City of Phoenix EAS Central Records Department will not release any personally identifiable information to outside parties unless legally required to do so.

The City of Phoenix EAS Central Records Department does not sell, rent, share or otherwise distribute a customers GIS data sales information, including e-mail addresses, to any outside company or organization.
