Summer 2008 PAC Registration Begins: April 19th at 10:30 a.m. You can now register online (choose After School PAC or Summer PAC) for any PAC site throughout the city. Our online registration system lists full program schedules, fees and registration details. Once you find the right site, you can register online with any major credit card once the registration period begins.

Welcome to Phoenix Afterschool Center
The City of Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department has long been a leader in school-based programs, offering school year and summer activities.This tradition has launched Phoenix Afterschool Center, which is fun and educational. It has sites throughout Phoenix located in schools and community centers. Kids spend time in a supervised program in a location close to home.
At Phoenix Afterschool Center, kids make friends, exercise, express themselves through art and learn to take pride in themselves.
General Program InformationPhoenix Afterschool Center (PAC) is an out-of-school time recreation program for school-age children throughout Phoenix. Under the supervision of professional recreation staff, youth are provided with a variety of age appropriate developmental activities that are fun, stimulating and enriching. The PAC staff is looking forward to getting to know the participants and their parents. It is important that we work together to ensure that every child enjoys his/her recreation experience. Please take time to carefully read the following program information to ensure that our program matches your child’s out-of-school time needs. Program Components: Each day participants will have structured scheduled, age-appropriate activities, as well as a period of supervised free play. A calendar of daily activities will be distributed at the site and include the following program components:
- Sports & Games
- Arts and Cultural Activities
- Educational Enrichment
- Prevention, Civic, & Community Involvement
