Mobile Unit

In 1992, the Parks and Recreation Department decided it had to find a way to bring recreation services to youth that lived in areas with limited access to  recreation centers. The Mobile Unit was created to provide recreation, education, community service, social services and special events to these areas.

Currently, the Mobile Unit visits lunchtime sites at schools, after-school sites, parks, apartments and assists at special events. Programs are offered Monday through Saturday.

For more information contact the Community Outreach Division Office 602-262-7370
