The Sunnyslope Youth Center is the result of the Sunnyslope Village Alliance working together with the City of Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department to create a fun recreation center for youth ages 12-18.  The center provides free classes with the hopes of getting the participants engaged in positive, life enhancing after school activities.

The Sunnyslope Youth Center offers classes on Hip Hop, Break Dancing, Ballet Folklorico, and mural arts.  The center also is connected to the newly dedicated Winifred Green Park.  This recreation park has a full sized basketball court, two playground structures and an open play field.
