The Washington Activity Center, built in 1969, is a multi-generational facility with a full size gymnasium, seven activity rooms and an auditorium. The center offers a wide variety of activities and services to the public at a minimal cost, including programs for toddlers, youth, teens, adults and seniors. The center sits adjacent to the Washington Park, with boasts opens spaces and traditional park amenities. (Basketball and Volleyball court, Softball & Soccer fields)
On-line registration is now possible for all classes and programs. The class listings below are just general descriptions and not an indication of the center's current schedule. Please check the online class registration system to see the latest schedule of classes at the center.

The Washington Activity Center Volunteer Association has a partnership with the Washington Activity Center. Together they offer several different activities which include recreation, education and special events. New volunteers are always welcome and training is provided to them.

Teen Voluteers |

The Washington Activity Center has volunteer opportunities for teens ages 13 to 18 years of age. Volunteer duties include front desk assistance, activity planning and special event assistance. New volunteers are always welcome and training is provided to them.
