NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

LAVEEN VILLAGE PLANNING COMMITTEE

DEVELOPMENT APPLICATION REVIEW SUBCOMMITTEE

 

Pursuant to A.R.S. Section 38-431.02, notice is hereby given to the members of the LAVEEN VILLAGE PLANNING COMMITTEE, and to the general public, that the LAVEEN VILLAGE PLANNING COMMITTEE DEVELOPMENT APPLICATION REVIEW SUBCOMMITTEE will hold a meeting open to the public on Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. located at the Media Center, Trailside Point Elementary School, 7275 W Vineyard Rd, Laveen, Arizona.

 

NOTE: A quorum of the full Encanto Village Planning Committee may be present.  Discussion and/or action of the items will be limited to the Subcommittee only.

·        Time for comments may be limited so that the Subcommittee may give all the items the same level of attention:

 

The agenda for the meeting is as follows:

 

1.	Call to order.
	RECOMMENDATION ITEMS
2.	Presentation, discussion and possible recommendation on GPA-LV-3-08-7.  A request to amend the General Plan Land Use Map designation from Parks/Open Space-Private to Commercial for approximately 12.51 acres located at the northeast corner of 59th Avenue and Baseline Road.  Presentation by Ed Bull, Burch and Cracchiolo, P.A. The Planning Commission will review this request on October 7, 2008.
3.	Presentation, discussion and possible recommendation on Z-56-08-7, an associated rezoning request to GPA-LV-3-08-7.  This is a request to rezone from GC to CO/GO (7.58 acres) and C-2 (4.93 acres) for multi-family residential and neighborhood commercial development on 12.51 acres located at the northeast corner of 59th Avenue and Baseline Road.  Presentation by Ed Bull, Burch and Cracchiolo, P.A. The Planning Commission will review this request on October 7, 2008.
