NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
CITY OF PHOENIX EMPLOYEES’ RETIREMENT BOARD
LEGAL REVIEW COMMITTEE

Pursuant to A.R.S. Section 38-431.02, notice is hereby given to the members of the CITY OF PHOENIX EMPLOYEES’ RETIREMENT BOARD, LEGAL REVIEW COMMITTEE and to the general public, that the LEGAL REVIEW COMMITTEE will hold a meeting open to the public on November 12, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. located at 101 S. Central Avenue, Suite 600, Phoenix, Arizona.

 

Notice is further given that a quorum of the City of Phoenix Employees’ Retirement Board may be in attendance at this meeting.  This meeting is not, however, a meeting of the City of Phoenix Employees’ Retirement Board.  One or more members may participate via teleconference. 

 

The agenda for the meeting is as follows:

 

1.	Call to Order
	Executive Session
	Pursuant to A.R.S. Section 38-431.A.3, the Legal Review Committee may vote to convene in Executive Session for discussion or consultation with the Committee’s attorney for legal advice regarding item 2.  The Committee will vote on actions to take on these items in open session.
2.	Review and Possible Action Regarding Considerations Included in Ennis Knupp Comprehensive Review:
	a)	Consider Obtaining a Written Opinion from the City Attorney Stating that Section 2-51 Does Not Give the Council the Authority to remove COPERS Trustees (See Ennis Knupp report page 1.15)	a.1
	Discussion and possible Committee action
