Accessibility

Going through the doors of the theaterPhoenix Stages logo used as link to home pagePhoenix Stages is committed to ensuring that our venues are accessible to all patrons. We're working closely with representatives from the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) and other local organizations to make certain our facilities comply with set standards.

Elevators symbolThe Orpheum Theatre and Symphony Hall are equipped with ramps, elevators, restrooms and special seating locations for patrons with disabilities. Infrared hearing system headsets are available free-of-charge at the checkroom on a first-come, first-served basis. Several of the resident companies offer large print programs. (Braille programs are available by request only from the resident companies).

You also can help us and our resident companies better serve you if you let the ticket sellers know your seating needs at the time of your ticket purchase.

Assisted Hearing symbolInfrared Hearing System
This system has been installed in Symphony Hall and Orpheum Theatre in order to enhance the listening capabilities of our patrons who are hearing impaired. Patrons may bring their own receiver or may sign out a hearing device from the checkroom. There is no charge for the equipment; however, as a security measure we do retain the patron's driver's license or credit card until the equipment is returned. Patrons may report problems with hearing devices to the house manager.
