New Restrictions
CENTRAL AVENUE – WATKINS TO BROADWAY ROADS *ARRA PROJECTCentral Avenue from Watkins to Broadway roads will be closed in both directions beginning at 9 a.m. Friday, September 17 until 5 a.m. Monday, September 20 for bridge joint deck repair and replacement. This work is related to an ARRA project.
During this work, Central Avenue through traffic will be detoured to either 7th Street or 7th Avenue.
Local and business access will be available.
Drivers are encouraged to allow for additional travel time and are advised to use 7th Street or 7th Avenue as alternate routes during this period.
FILLMORE STREET – SEVENTH TO FIFTH AVENUES
Fillmore Street from Seventh to Fifth Avenues is currently being closed in both directions weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Friday, September 17 for water line relocation.
During this work, Fillmore Street through traffic will be detoured to either Van Buren or Roosevelt streets.
Local and business access will be available.
Drivers are encouraged to allow for additional travel time during this period.
INDIAN SCHOOL ROAD AT GRAND CANAL BRIDGE (64TH AVENUE) *ARRA PROJECT
Indian School Road is scheduled to be restricted beginning 7 a.m. Friday, September 10 until 5 a.m. Monday, September 13 for bridge joint rehabilitation as part of an ARRA project.
During this work, Indian School Road will be reduced to two lanes (one lane in each direction).
Local and business access will be available.
Police officers will be on-site to assist with traffic control.
Drivers are encouraged to allow for additional travel time during this period.
7TH AVENUE – I-17 TO BROADWAY ROAD *ARRA PROJECT
Seventh Avenue from I-17 to Broadway Road is scheduled to be closed in both directions beginning at 7 p.m. Friday, September 10 until 5 a.m. Monday, September 13 for bridge joint deck repair and replacement work related to an ARRA project.
During this work, 7th Avenue through traffic will be detoured to either Central Avenue or 19th Avenue.
Local and business access will be available.
Drivers are encouraged to allow for additional travel time and are advised to use either Central or 19th avenues as alternate routes during this time.
35TH AVENUE AND INDIAN SCHOOL ROAD INTERSECTION *ARRA PROJECT
The 35th Avenue and Indian School Road intersection is scheduled to be restricted from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. both Monday, September 13 and Tuesday, September 14. The northwest freeway on-ramp will be closed on Tuesday, September 14 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. This work is for bridge joint rehabilitation as part of an ARRA project.
During this work, traffic will be restricted to one lane in all directions.
Local and business access will be available.
Drivers are encouraged to allow for additional travel time during this period.

Reopening After Restrictions
BETHANY HOME ROAD – THIRD TO FIFTH STREETSBethany Home Road is now open to normal traffic in both directions following the emergency repair of waterline valves.
McDOWELL ROAD AND 16TH STREET INTERSECTION
The McDowell Road and 16th Street intersection is now open to normal traffic in all directions following the repair and replacement of waterline valves.
