Special Events
GOVERNOR'S CELEBRATION ON INNOVATION AWARDS – THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 19This event will take place at the Orpheum Theater.
The following street is closed until 6 a.m. Friday, November 20:
- Adams Street – 2nd to 3rd avenues
Parking access will be maintained.
All streets will open to normal traffic by 6 a.m. Friday, November 20.
UNDY 5000 5K WALK/RUN – SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 21 AT 9 A.M.
This event will start and finish at 16th Avenue and Adams Street.
The following streets will be closed on Saturday, November 21 at 8:30 a.m.:
- Washington Street – 1st to 15th avenues
- Jefferson Street - 3rd to 19th avenues
- Adams Street - 15th to 19th avenues
- 3rd Avenue - Jefferson to Adams streets
- 17th Avenue - Adams to Jefferson streets
Police officers will be on-site to assist with traffic control.
All streets will be open to normal traffic by 11 a.m. Saturday, November 21.
Drivers are encouraged to allow for additional travel time during this period.

Reopening After Restrictions
BETHANY HOME ROAD – 15TH TO 19TH AVENUESBethany Home Road is now open to normal traffic following the completion of a City of Phoenix Water Services Department waterline project.
VAN BUREN STREET – 52ND STREET TO GALVIN PARKWAY
Van Buren Street is now open to normal traffic following the completion of a City of Phoenix Water Services Department waterline project.
20TH STREET – CAMPBELL AVENUE TO INDIAN SCHOOL ROAD
20th Street is now open to normal traffic following the completion of a City of Phoenix Water Services Department waterline project.
