The Water Services Department is committed to completing the sanitary sewer relief program as quickly as possible. We have made significant progress. Some final few projects are experiencing delays due to various issues facing these projects. Issues causing delays on remaining projects include obtaining easements and licenses and cost/contract negotiations with contractors.
This schedule update shows progress made on several projects since the December 2007 update to this website schedule. Of the 32 total projects in this program, 26 are complete. Three projects are currently under construction, and the final three projects are expected to begin construction in the near future.
The estimated program completion date for the remaining projects has been extended to fall 2008.
