Update April 6, 2005
All development projects waiting for the Siesta Lane permanent sewer relief project to be completed can now proceed with final permit approvals. This includes all the units within Tre Colinas. The temporary lift station located near 32nd Street and Union Hills was completed on March 28th and is now operational. The test of the sewage pump station was very positive and it is able to divert all of the peak sewer flow at this location. With the success of the lift station and given the Siesta Lane permanent relief sewer is ahead of schedule, the sewer constraint for the 32nd Street sewer is no longer a critical issue.
Update March 23, 2005
Tre Colinas Project and 32nd Street Sewer: The temporary lift station for the 32nd St sewer is under construction and on schedule for completion March 26th. Certificates of Occupancy for 25 units at Tre Colinas may be available as soon as March 28th. Sewer Constraint Procedure: A development procedure for projects located in areas impacted by sewer capacity constraints was finalized on 3/10.
Update: March 2, 2005 A map was made available to download which identifies areas of the City affected by sewer capacity issues. Any current or future project that is located within these areas (noted in yellow on the map) may be subject to some additional requirements for sewer service. If you have a current or planned project; located in one of these areas you can call (602) 534-5812 if you want to obtain more information about how your project could potentially be impacted.
Update: March 2, 2005
Tre Colinas Update: Maricopa County Health Services informed the City this morning that they will be approving the City plans for a temporary sewage pump to relieve the 32nd Street sewer. This temporary measure will provide capacity for 25 new units in Tre Colina to connect to the City sewer and people will be able to receive certificates of occupancy some time late March. We will provide further updates on this page. For more information call (602) 495-5676.
