BUS TERMNAL AND BUS DEPOT TEXT AMENDMENT
Request to hold a public hearing and approve the text amendment changes for the following item by adopting the Planning Commission's recommendation and the related ordinance.

Proposed Language
Amend Chapter 2, Section 202 (Definitions) by adding the following definitions in correct alphabetical order:

Bus depot: Any premises for the storage, maintenance, and service of buses, including repair and washing facilities.
Bus terminal: Any premises for the transient storage or parking of buses, and the loading and unloading of passengers (privately operated bus lines). A bus terminal is characterized as a transfer point between various modes of transit.

Amend Chapter 6, Section 623 (Commercial C-2 District) by adding the following language and renumber the remaining section accordingly:

Bus terminal, subject to the following conditions and/or limitations:
a.
SHALL NOT LOCATE WITHIN 100 FEET OF A RESIDENTIALLY ZONED PROPERTY.
b.
MAINTENANCE AND FUELING OPERATIONS ARE PROHIBITED.
c.
ALL OPERATIONS EXCEPT PASSENGER/CARGO LOADING AND UNLOADING SHALL BE CONDUCTED INSIDE THE BUILDING.
d.
BUSES SHALL NOT PARK FOR MORE THAN 12 HOURS.
