This project was conceived to encourage people to notice the invisible water distribution system that flows beneath our streets and sidewalks. Three sizes of water meter covers have been designed by the artist using images of water hoses, plumbing hardware and prehistoric fossils. The hatchcovers are located throughout the downtown area and in neighborhood parks in Phoenix.
