Festival Project

Overview

Festival Project grants support Phoenix-based festivals open to the general public that highlight the multidisciplinary arts and cultural activities of a specific ethnic culture. Festival grants offer a flexible area of funding assistance related to artists' fees and production expenses.

Festival Project grants provide funding assistance for festivals that:

  • have as their primary purpose the preservation, production or presentation of art forms and cultural activities specific to an ethnic culture.
  • express the experiences of historically underserved ethnic communities (which include but are not limited to African Americans, Asian Americans, Hispanic/Latinos, Native Americans, Pacific Islanders)

Festival applicants that have a three consecutive year history of funding from the Office of Arts and Culture are eligible to apply using the Festival Short Form

New Festivals and those that do not meet the 3-year funding history requirement must complete the Festival Long Form

Application Deadline: February 16, 2010
