Festival Project

Grant Requests

Amount of request: Festival applicants do not make specific funding requests. Organizations supported through this grant category will receive $1,200, subject to allocation of funds by the Phoenix City Council.

Matching funds: All Phoenix Office of Arts and Culture grants must be matched at least dollar for dollar by the applicant. For example, if your project has a total budget of $2,000, you will need to raise $1,000 to match a grant of $1,000. Matching Funds do not need to be in hand at the time of application, but your grant application needs to provide specific information as to where the matching funds will come from.

Project dates: Funded activities must occur between July 1, 2010 and June 30, 2011.

 

 

Funding Restrictions

Grant funds cannot be used for:

The city of Phoenix cannot legally fund applications from organizations incorporated for religious purposes or organizations affiliated with religious organizations.
