The City of Phoenix Water Services Department will replace the existing sanitary sewer main along Broadway Road corridor with a new, larger main with increased capacity to meet future growth. The overall project has been broken into four segments:

Segment 2A: Broadway Road from 51st to to 31st Avenues and along Wier Avenue from 43rd to 35th Avenuese

Segment 2B: Broadway Road from 31st to 10th Avenues

Segment 2C: Broadway Road from 10th Avenue to 16th Street - this segment includes rehabilitation and repair of the existing sewer pipe in the local streets between 9th Avenue and 16th Street

Segment 2D: Broadway Road from 16th to 32nd Streets

Construction activities for Phase 2B will require traffic restrictions and occasional road closures involving construction equipment and personnel to be present in the work zone. Residents are asked to keep themselves and the work crews safe by following all traffic control signage and adhering to the reduced speed limit and parking restrictions.
