In this episode of “On the Issues,” Councilman Michael Johnson discusses discuss the city’s efforts to prevent foreclosures and our Neighborhood Stabilization Program.  He features the new South Mountain Community Library and learns more about Project Nook.  He also discusses the importance of flu shots and to close the show, he features “The Blessing Project,” which is a new exhibit in Phoenix that’s been seen by more than a half-million people in different cities across the country.

Part 2 features Jennifer Turk and Jeffrey Jamison with the Human Services Department; Cynthia Peters, Emmett Boyd and Rene Vera with the Parks and Recreation Department; and Ray Yocopis and Ray Buchanan of the Neighborhood Services Department.
The show concludes in Part 3 with Sgt. Scott McCauley, Officer Christopher Granado and Officer Eric Amato of the Phoenix Police Department; John Chan of the Phoenix Convention Center and Therese Malbrew with the Finance Department.

In previous programs Councilman Michael Johnson talks with Onesimus Strachan and Jennifer Cobb about the Dec. 3-4 PHX Urban Expo. Rhoshawndra Carnes and Kathy Donner discussed the African American Strategic Leadership Group and a story on the organic garden at  Desert Marigold School.
