Deputy City Manager David Krietor oversees the Aviation, Phoenix Convention Center, Human Services, and Community and Economic departments. Other responsibilities include the Public Information Office, and Youth and Education Office.  Mr. Krietor also oversaw the construction of the Sheraton downtown hotel.  David currently serves as lead staff on the Downtown, Economy, and Aviation Subcommittee.  

Mr. Krietor's career with the city includes serving as the mayor's chief of staff, aviation director and community and economic development director.  Prior to his service with the city, Mr. Krietor held several positions with the city of Syracuse, New York.   David holds a M.P.A and a B.S. in business management from Syracuse University.
