Deputy City Manager Rick Naimark

Deputy City Manager Rick NaimarkDeputy City Manager Rick Naimark oversees the Housing, Parks and Recreation, Neighborhood Services and Public Works departments.  He is also responsible for the Rio Salado Project and city's Downtown Biomedical Campus, while serving as liaison for the Public Defender's Office and mountain preserve purchases.  In addition to these responsibilities,  Mr. Naimark serves as lead staff to the Housing and Neighborhoods Subcommittee.

Rick came to the in city in 1986 as a management intern and once his internship was completed, Mr. Naimark accepted a position within the city's Budget and Research Department as a management assistant.   Rick has held several positions over the years including executive assistant to the city council, interim neighborhood services director and executive assistant to the city manager.

Mr. Naimark holds a M.P.P. from Harvard University, John F. Kennedy School of Government and a B.A. in public policy from Stanford University.
