Planning and Development Department (P&D)

Welcome to our new web site.

The Planning and Development Department (P&D) is responsible for the safe development of buildings and infrastructure through enforcement of the city's building code, other city codes and ordinances. P&D staff review construction plans for compliance, issue permits, perform construction inspections and issue Certificates of Occupancy.

Tickets for counter service are distributed from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Customers with tickets may continue their business transaction through the close of business (5:00 p.m.).
