Make sure you head to Rainbows Festival this weekend at Heritage Square in Downtown Phoenix! The free festivities start at 10am and go until 6pm on both Saturday and Sunday. We will have a booth there, so stop by and say hello! Visit www.rainbowsfestival.com for more information about the festival.
AIDS Walk
AIDS Walk 2009 is also happening this weekend. Whether you are walking or not, come downtown and show support! For more information about the AIDS Walk, visit www.aidswalk2009.org.
G.A.I.N. Events
This year's G.A.I.N. events will take place on Saturday, October 17, 2009. G.A.I.N. (Getting Arizona Involved In Neighborhoods) is a day to celebrate crime prevention through community involvement. Block Watches, apartment complexes, neighborhood groups, parks, businesses, etc. across Phoenix participate in block parties to show support for the efforts of those involved in the fight against crime.
Come on out to your community's event on the 17th!

Rail Ride Event Program - Starts this month!
METRO light rail, US Airways Center and the Phoenix Suns announced the launch of a unique program entitled, “Rail Ride Event.” The program, a first in the U.S. between an entertainment venue and public transportation entity, will allow consumers who purchase a ticket to an event at US Airways Center to ride METRO light rail at no additional cost, four hours before and all night after the event.
