Dec. 6, 2005

Councilman Greg Stanton’s office has added Danielle Leoni as a new council aide. Leoni will be responsible for handling constituent inquires, conducting research on neighborhood issues and representing the District 6 council office at neighborhood and community events.

Leoni is an Illinois native and has lived in the Valley for 11 years. Previously, she worked on the 2005 Census campaign for Phoenix’s Intergovernmental Programs Office. She graduated from Arizona State University in 2004, with a bachelor of arts degree in political science.

“Danielle’s professionalism is a wonderful asset to our dedicated District 6 staff,” said Stanton. “Her work with the successful Census program is the perfect grass roots experience for helping our residents.”

Leoni takes the former position of Ryan Burke, who is now working as an assistant to Mayor Phil Gordon.

District 6 includes Ahwatukee Foothills, Arcadia, Biltmore and north central Phoenix.
