Four City Council Members Inaugurated

Jan. 2, 2002

The City of Phoenix welcomes Peggy Neely and Michael Johnson, who were sworn in during inauguration ceremonies Jan. 2 at City Hall, along with re-elected Councilmen Phil Gordon, District 4, and Greg Stanton, District 6.

Neely represents northeast Phoenix's District 2, replacing Vice Mayor Tom Milton, who chose not to run for re-election, and Johnson replaces Cody Williams in District 8. Williams served two, four-year terms, the maximum under the city's rules.
