The Pharmacy Technician Internship Program provides young adults between the ages of 18-25 the opportunity to attend Pharmacy Technician training while working at a local CVS Pharmacy. Training will be provided FREE for those who qualify and meet program admission requirements. The program weekly schedule includes three days of work experience at CVS Pharmacy and two days of training at Phoenix College. Youth who participate in the program must reside or have attended high school in the NMTC Census Tract.
All interested applicants must attend the mandatory informational session scheduled on September 29, 2009 at Phoenix College Dome Auditorium on 3110 N. 10th Ave., Phoenix, 85013, from 4-7 pm. This recruitment is HIGHLY competitive. All applicants must come prepared to the Informational Session with an application, resume, essay, and letter of reference. Those applicants with the necessary documentation will interview with CVS staff. Admission into the program is also contingent upon background checks and drug screenings.
