The city offers the following educational services and networking opportunities to help SBE firms connect to new business opportunities.
Certification and Business Opportunity Workshops
The Equal Opportunity Department conducts monthly Certification and Business Opportunity workshops for prospective firms interested in becoming certified with the city. The next workshop is scheduled from 2-4 p.m. on Thursday, May 30, 2013, at Phoenix City Hall, Assembly Room B.
Certification ensures that small business owners have an equal economic opportunity to participate in city business projects. The department hosts the instructional sessions to provide information about the requirements, process and benefits of becoming certified.
