Partners

The Family Advocacy Center's multidisciplinary team includes both city and community partners.

City of Phoenix Partners

City Manager's Office

Staff from the City Manager's Office provide advocacy services for victims of personal crime including domestic and sexual violence, elder abuse, stalking, vehicular fatalities, physical assault, child abuse and neglect.

Police Department Family Investigations Bureau.

A unique, victim-oriented, collaborative approach is used to investigate, intervene and prosecute domestic violence, sexual and physical abuse cases.

Fire Department Crisis Response Unit

The Fire Department Crisis Response Unit responds to the FAC after hours to assist victims of sexual assault. victims receive crisis intervention, referral services and transportation when needed.

Onsite Community Partners

A New Leaf
A New Leaf's Advocacy Center staff provide short-term counseling services for victims of domestic violence and other types of personal crime such as assault, vehicular fatalities, homicide, etc. along with a Domestic Violence Survivor Empowerment group.

EMPACT
EMPACT-SPC Trauma Healing Services Department staff provide counseling services for victims of sexual assault along with a Sexual Assault Survivor Theraputic Group.

Jewish Family and Children's Service.
The Shelter Without Walls program is a non-residential comprehensive support program tht helps survivors of domestic violence and their children achieve and maintain safety and self-sufficiency. A comprehensive array of services assist participants to address needs such as housing, employment, healthcare, childcare, transportation and emotional healing, and building independent lives free from abuse.

Scottsdale Healthcare
Through a partnership with Scottsdale Healthcares Forensic Nurse Examiner program, the center provides compassionate, comprehensive care to victims of interpersonal violence such as sexual assault, domestic violence, elder abuse and child abuse. Advocacy services are provided to victims and referrals are available for any additional supportive services that may be needed.
