Proposed Phoenix Goodyear Airport Improvements
The city of Phoenix Aviation Department is preparing an environmental assessment on proposed Phoenix Goodyear Airport improvements that include a new full-length parallel taxiway to support landside development north of the runway and seeks the public input.
The public is invited to learn more about and to provide input on the proposed Airport improvements on Nov. 17, Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. (drop by anytime) at Goodyear City Hall, Room 117. Goodyear City Hall, 190 N. Litchfield Road, is located on the southwest corner of Van Buren Street and Litchfield Road.
The proposed improvements include:
- A new full-length 8,500-foot parallel taxiway on the northwest side of Runway 3/21 and taxilanes to provide aircraft access to the North Landside Corporate Development Area and the proposed parallel taxiway;
- Infrastructure to accommodate the development of corporate aviation facilities that could include a Fixed Base Operator (FBO), offices, hangars, apron, storage, fuel sales, ramp/tie-down services, etc; and,
- A new Access Road to provide vehicular access to the North Landside Commercial Development Area that would enter the proposed site from Yuma Road.
