Up-Coming 2011 Phoenix Firefighter Recruit Testing Process
The City of Phoenix is making preparations to facilitate a 2011 Firefighter Recruit testing process. The application period for this upcoming process will start on Monday, April 4, 2011, and will close on Friday, April 8, 2011. During this five day recruitment period applications will be made accessible by going online to City of Phoenix website www.phoenix.gov/jobs.
Applications will only be accessible and accepted online and during this five day recruitment period. No exceptions will be made. If candidates need assistance applying online, staff and computer kiosks will be available during the five day recruitment period at the Human Resources Department's HR Center located at 135 N. 2nd Avenue (S/E corner of 2nd Avenue and Monroe) in downtown Phoenix.
The corresponding study guide necessary for preparation for the written test and recruitment packet will be made available electronically (online) as a printable attachment once the applicant completes the online application process.
As this is a pre-notification of a pending recruitment process, please do not contact the City of Phoenix Human Resources Department with questions regarding the recruitment as they are not available to provide information at this time.
The written portion of the testing process is anticipated to be held approximately one month after the closing of the application period. More information will be posted when the confirmed test date becomes available.
