The Friends of the Phoenix Public Library will be serving cookies and cocoa to library visitors to celebrate the expansion of hours at Mesquite and Burton Barr Central Libraries. Expanded hours began on Dec. 7, with both locations now open until 9 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. These additional hours were funded through budget saving measures identified by the library. |
