The Neighborhood Services Department’s Volunteer Assistance Program will host a brown bag panel discussion to share current volunteers’ experiences. The panel will be from noon to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, at Burton Barr Public Library, 1221 N. Central Ave., Lecture Room, fourth floor.
Attendees will learn how to organize a volunteer team in their community to assist financially and physically disadvantaged Phoenix property owners correct code violations at their homes. Guest panelists and city staff will be on hand to answer questions about volunteer assistance opportunities.
