Residents are invited to join Councilman Michael Nowakowski and Rep. Ruben Gallego for a District 7 Town Hall from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight, at the Cesar Chavez High School cafeteria, 3921 W. Baseline Road.  

“The residents of Laveen are ready and eager to see this long talked about freeway become a reality now,” said Councilman Michael Nowakowski.  “The South Mountain Freeway will provide much needed access to our community as well as a positive economic impact for our future – we must act now!”

The Town Hall will include a presentation focusing on the history, process, alignment as well as future steps of the South Mountain Freeway.  

Staff from the city of Phoenix, Arizona Department of Transportation and Maricopa Association of Governments will be on hand to answer questions.
