Final, Unofficial Results for Phoenix Special Election

As of 5 p.m. Friday, March 15, ballot tabulation has been completed.  In total, 107,277 ballots were cast in the Election.  Below are the updated, final unofficial results:

  • Proposition 201 – Reform of the City of Phoenix Employees’ Retirement Plan: Yes – 81,893 (79.33 percent); No – 21,333 (20.67 percent)

  • Proposition 202 – Reform of Investment Standards, Legal Status, and Funding Provisions for the City of Phoenix Employees’ Retirement Plan: Yes – 78,423 (76.99 percent); No – 23,433 (23.01 percent)

  • Proposition 300 – Transit Security: Yes – 77,252 (76.63 percent); No – 23,563 (23.37 percent)

 

The City Council is scheduled to canvass the vote totals during its Formal session at 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, after which the results become official.
