The public is invited to join Councilman Tom Simplot at a candle light vigil in memory of Maurice D. Green at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 21, at Cielito Park, 3402 W. Campbell Ave.

Green was shot and killed on March 21, 2006.  At the time of the murder, he was dressed as a woman.  The killer has never been found. For more information about the vigil, contact the District 4 office at 602-262-7447.

Silent Witness is offering a reward of up to $4,000 for information that leads to the arrest of the suspected killer.  Councilman Simplot is personally committed to solving this case and will donate an extra $1,000 to the reward fund.  Those with any information about this murder should contact Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS or 1-800-343-TIPS.
