Residents are invited to join Councilwoman Thelda Williams as she kicks off the Phoenix General Plan Update process for northwest Phoenix from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 21, at Goelet A.C. Beuf Community Center, 3435 W. Pinnacle Peak Road.
“I want to hear from District 1 residents from the very beginning of this process so they have the chance to provide valuable input in shaping the future of our city,” said Councilwoman Williams.
The General Plan is a long-range plan for all physical aspects of the city and city charter requires that it be updated every 10 years. This update will focus of four major categories: community, economy, environment and infrastructure. Residents are encouraged to share their ideas and input about these four major topics as well as any other ideas they have about the growth of the city.
