Residents have the opportunity to meet with District 3 Councilman Bill Gates at three events during the month of May.  They can join the Councilman for office hours from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 9, at the Cowden Center, 9202 N. Second St.  Residents can call the District 3 office at 602-262-7441 to make an appointment.

Also, residents can come to the Councilman’s lunchtime chat from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, May 12, at 32 Shea, 10626 N. 32nd St.  Drinks will be provided; food is available for purchase. The featured guests will provide an update for residents on the 32nd Street Corridor.

Residents looking to expand their business or to purchase capital equipment are invited to attend a banking presentation with the Councilman from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Thursday, May 5, at the Paradise Valley Mall Food Court, 4568 E. Cactus Road.  They can join the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce and BBVA Compass, BNC National Bank, Chase, US Bank and Wells Fargo to learn about getting a loan in today’s market.  Residents can also find out what city of Phoenix resources are available to assist them in applying for loans.  They can register at phoenixchamber.com
