Residents are invited to bring their family and friends to join Councilman Michael Nowakowski and the Laveen Community Council for a free Movie in the Park on Saturday, May 14, at sundown at Cesar Chavez Park, 7858 S. 35th Ave.
The evening's presentation will be the animated Disney film Tangled, featuring the voice of Mandy Moore as Rapunzel with her enchanted locks of long, golden hair.
In addition to the movie, Starbucks will be offering free coffee for parents and Scooptacular will provide free ice cream for kids. Arizona Lutheran Academy and the Laveen Youth Football Association will be providing snacks and refreshments.
